Revolut is expanding further into travel with the launch of Revolut Lounge, a new network of premium airport lounges designed to give customers a more seamless airport experience.

David Tirado, Partner and Chief Commercial and Group Executive at Revolut, announced the initiative on LinkedIn, describing it as the company's latest “New Bet.”

According to Tirado, the dedicated lounge network will bring Revolut's travel offering into the physical airport environment, with the company aiming to reduce friction for customers while they travel.

"This dedicated network of premium airport lounges will prove just how seamless airport hospitality can be and bring our mission to remove travel friction for our customers into the real world.

With Revolut Lounge, we’ll be bringing our brand into the physical everyday lives of our customers with a tangible presence," Tirado said.

One of the key locations will be Copenhagen Airport, where Revolut plans to open a lounge in 2027. Tirado said the facility will be the largest common-use lounge in the Schengen area.

The Copenhagen project represents a significant expansion of Revolut's presence in the travel sector. Rather than focusing solely on financial products used before or during trips, the company is moving into the airport experience itself.

Revolut already offers customers access to thousands of existing airport lounges through its app. Depending on their plan, customers can purchase lounge passes, receive discounted access or have lounge visits included in their subscription.
