Disney Cruise Line has revealed new details about its upcoming Disney Believe cruise ship, including its Moana -inspired Grand Hall and distinctive character artwork planned for the vessel's exterior.
The designs were presented by Claire Weiss, Portfolio Executive Creative Director , during the Horizons: D23 Disney Experiences Showcase, giving fans their first look at several major elements of the ship's design.

For the new vessel, the space will draw inspiration from Disney Animation's Moana films and their themes of exploration and discovery.
A bronze statue of Moana, accompanied by Pua and Heihei, will serve as the centerpiece of the Grand Hall. The venue will also incorporate design elements inspired by the South Pacific setting of the films, including Polynesian-inspired finishes intended to celebrate the region's artistic and cultural traditions.
Disney also unveiled details of the ship's exterior artwork.

Instead of the traditional Disney Cruise Line lettering, the characters will create the name in a playful style inspired by the iconic block lettering of Toy Story .
The ship's bow will feature another classic Disney character. Tinker Bell , based on her original appearance in the 1953 animated film Peter Pan , will be incorporated into a delicate hand-painted filigree design. Silhouettes of Peter, Wendy, Captain Hook and other characters will appear alongside her.
The combination of Moana, Toy Story and Peter Pan gives Disney Believe a distinct visual identity while continuing Disney Cruise Line's tradition of incorporating recognizable characters into each new ship.
According to Weiss, the ship's overall concept will revolve around magic, family, nature and self-belief, with the stories and experiences onboard connected by the broader Disney theme of believing in something fantastical.
The newly revealed designs offer an early glimpse at how Disney plans to differentiate Disney Believe from the rest of its growing cruise fleet while maintaining the storytelling and character-driven experiences associated with the brand.
