Travelers flying from Sardinia now have a new way to reach destinations around the world, following the new agreement between ITA Airways and Aeroitalia announced in July.
The agreement allows passengers to combine flights from both companies on one route and significantly expand connectivity options within Italy and as well as to the international network.

As revealed today, August 19, by ITA Airways, passengers departing from Cagliari, Olbia, and Alghero can book integrated trips to New York, Buenos Aires, Tokyo, and other popular destinations worldwide through the ITA Airways website.
The airline presented the agreement as a way to make international travel from Sardinia easier, allowing passengers to combine flights operated by Aeroitalia with onward connections through ITA Airways.

Other destinations that will be included in the new connections are Genoa and Catania, Palermo and Comiso in Sicily.
