The Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart will turn into an open-air cinema this summer, with 15 film screenings scheduled from August 21 to September 6, 2026.

The annual event will bring a mix of comedy, science fiction, adventure and outdoor films to the museum grounds, with screenings taking place beneath the open sky. Advance ticket sales are already underway, although several evenings have already sold out.

Among the highlights is Steven Spielberg's new science fiction film “Disclosure Day – The Day of Truth,” scheduled for August 29. The film explores the question of whether humanity is alone in the universe.

Another new addition to this year's program is “Steckerlfischfiasko,” the latest crime comedy featuring village police officer Franz Eberhofer, played by Sebastian Bezzel. The film will be shown on August 30 and brings the series' trademark dry Bavarian humor to the open-air cinema.

15 Films Across 17 Days

The program begins on August 21 with “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” although that screening is already sold out. Other sold-out dates include “Michael” on August 23, the European Outdoor Film Tour on August 26, the Ocean Film Tour on September 2 and “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” on September 6.
