Marriott Bonvoy is giving NFL fans a new way to explore the cities they visit for games, launching 37 player-curated City Guides covering every U.S. and international destination hosting an NFL game this season.

The guides feature recommendations from current and former NFL players, offering travelers a more personal look at the destinations beyond the stadium. Among the players involved are Cooper Kupp, Jordan Mailata, Fred Warner, Todd Gurley, Jerry Rice and Mark Ingram II.

The program covers a wide range of NFL destinations, including Melbourne, Rio de Janeiro, Mexico City, London, Paris and Madrid. Each guide highlights local traditions, favorite restaurants and places, cultural experiences and lesser known spots that have helped shape the players’ connections with their respective cities.

Designed by social media artist Jeff Cole, the guides use player perspectives to help visiting fans experience NFL host cities through the eyes of people who have spent significant time there.

From the Stadium to the City

Marriott Bonvoy plans to expand the City Guides into a broader season-long fan experience. The hotel company will bring some of the players’ recommendations to life through on-property experiences and a new 10-episode content series featuring selected players in their home destinations.

Fans can also find NFL-related opportunities through Marriott Bonvoy Moments, where loyalty points can be used for experiences and memories connected to the sport.

In selected host cities, Marriott Bonvoy will offer curated City Guide packages combining NFL game tickets, hotel stays and local experiences, giving traveling fans the opportunity to build an entire trip around a game.

Peggy Roe, Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer at Marriott International, said the initiative allows fans to experience NFL cities through the perspective of the players themselves while helping Marriott Bonvoy members turn their sporting interests into travel experiences.

Super Bowl Sleepover Returns

The partnership will also bring back Marriott Bonvoy’s Super Bowl Sleepover Suite, offering one winner the opportunity to spend a night in a luxury suite transformed into a hotel room inside SoFi Stadium ahead of the Super Bowl.

Alongside the City Guides, Marriott Bonvoy has launched a new advertising campaign titled “Long-Distance NFL Relationships.” The campaign focuses on fans who remain loyal to their teams even when they live far from their home markets.

The initiative builds on Marriott Bonvoy’s “Where Gameday Checks In” platform and highlights the brand’s hotel presence near almost every NFL stadium.

The first City Guides include Cooper Kupp’s recommendations for Seattle, Jordan Mailata’s guide to Philadelphia, Jerry Rice’s Mexico City selections, Mark Ingram II’s Rio de Janeiro guide and Todd Gurley’s Melbourne recommendations.

Additional guides, including those featuring Fred Warner in San Francisco and Kyle Hamilton in Baltimore, will be released throughout the NFL season.
