Marriott International's award-winning travel platform, Marriott Bonvoy, has renewed its partnership with the Rolex Shanghai Masters for a fourth consecutive year. This means Marriott will carry on its role as the tournament’s Exclusive Hospitality Sponsor, strengthening the connection between travel and world-class tennis.
The partnership gives Marriott Bonvoy members opportunities to combine their passion for sport with destination experiences in Shanghai, while highlighting the travel program’s wider focus on memorable experiences beyond the hotel stay.
“At Marriott Bonvoy, our members are at the center of everything we do as we continue to connect travel with passions that matter most to them,” said Betty Tian, Managing Vice President, Customer, Greater China, Marriott International.
Tian said sporting events are becoming an increasingly important source of travel inspiration and that the Rolex Shanghai Masters partnership allows Marriott Bonvoy to expand the possibilities available to its members. The program will draw on Marriott International’s global hotel network, range of brands and member benefits to create experiences that combine the tournament with opportunities to discover Shanghai.
Tennis Meets Family Experiences
For the 2026 tournament, Marriott Bonvoy is also expanding its Players Escort Selection program in collaboration with Chinese tennis legend Li Na.
Selected children will have the opportunity to attend the Rolex Shanghai Masters and walk onto center court hand in hand with some of the world’s leading tennis players. The initiative is designed to create a memorable experience for young tennis fans and their families while bringing them closer to the action.
The program is part of Marriott Bonvoy’s broader strategy of using major sporting events to create distinctive experiences for members.
Exclusive Rolex Shanghai Masters Experiences
Through Marriott Bonvoy Moments, members can redeem points for exclusive experiences connected to the Rolex Shanghai Masters. These include skybox access and curated tournament packages, giving members the chance to experience the event from premium locations while enjoying their stay in Shanghai.
The “Swing Into the World” initiative encourages members to combine their interest in tennis with destination discovery, making major sporting events part of a wider travel experience.
Marriott Bonvoy is also extending this approach internationally through its partnership with the Australian Open. The collaboration offers members and guests distinctive tennis experiences while linking the tournament to opportunities to explore Melbourne and its urban attractions.
