Starting Today: Terminal Drop-Off and Taxi Access Changes at Major Airport

FK Airport has moved Terminal 7 departures and the taxi stand to Level 1 of the parking garage, with a new traffic pattern now in place

Passengers using Terminal 7 should allow extra time when arriving at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport after a roadway change took effect on September 22.

The Terminal 7 departures frontage and taxi stand have been relocated to Level 1 of the Terminal 7 Parking Garage, according to an announcement from JFK Airport.

The change also affects the traffic pattern for drivers traveling to and from the JFK Expressway. Airport officials are advising travelers to follow the updated roadway signs and allow additional time for their journey.

The change is particularly relevant for passengers being dropped off at Terminal 7 or arriving by taxi, as the previous access arrangements no longer apply.
