The short itineraries give travelers the option of taking a brief cruise from Los Angeles rather than committing to a longer voyage. Depending on the sailing, guests can visit Catalina Island off the Southern California coast and Ensenada in Mexico.
Ovation of the Seas is part of Royal Caribbean’s Quantum Class and has undergone an Amplification, the company’s program for updating and adding features to existing ships.

The Los Angeles departures add another option for travelers seeking a short cruise from California, with itineraries centered on destinations along the Southern California and Baja California coasts.
Royal Caribbean is currently promoting the sailings as part of its broader selection of cruises departing from California, with prices starting at $229 for a 4-night cruise to Ensenada and Catalina, departure date November 2, 2026, and $267 per person for the 3-night Ensenada Cruise starting on January 4, 2027.
