Passengers traveling from London Euston to Stirling on Lumo are facing delays after a person was hit by a train earlier in the day.
Lumo said its 10:19 a.m. service (local time) from London Euston to Stirling was expected to depart around 60 minutes late because of disruption caused by the earlier incident.
The operator also said the delay was linked to an overnight incident near Wigan, which affected a previous journey and caused knock-on disruption to the train operating the Stirling service.
The delayed train is scheduled to call at Milton Keynes Central, Nuneaton, Crewe, Preston, Carlisle, Lockerbie, Motherwell, Whifflet, Greenfaulds and Larbert before reaching Stirling.
The original timetable had the train leaving London Euston at 10:19 and arriving in Stirling at 16:14. Lumo's live information listed the service as delayed throughout its journey, with the expected times subject to change.
Lumo apologized to passengers for the disruption and advised travelers to check station information screens and its live disruption information before continuing their journeys.
The operator also reminded passengers that those whose journey is delayed by 30 minutes or more may be eligible to claim compensation through its Delay Repay scheme.
