London Luton Airport has warned passengers of overnight road closures on the inbound A1081 New Airport Way, with repairs scheduled for three consecutive nights from Monday, October 12, to Wednesday, October 14, 2026.

According to the airport’s official travel information, the works will take place between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. each night. Diversion routes will be in place while the repairs are carried out.

The airport is advising passengers driving to or from the airport to check their route before setting off and allow extra time for their journey. Travelers may need to make alternative arrangements to avoid delays during the overnight work.

The closures affect the inbound section of New Airport Way, which connects the airport with the surrounding road network including M1 motorway and local routes like Percival Way, Kimpton Road, Gipsy Lane, Vauxhall Way, the A6/ London Road, and the B653. Passengers with late-night or early-morning flights should check the latest traffic information and follow the signed diversions.
