Sydney Airport has opened a dedicated electric vehicle showcase in its T3 Domestic terminal, partnering with premium EV brand Zeekr to give passengers a closer look at its latest models before boarding their flights.

The display features the Zeekr 7GT luxury shooting brake and the Zeekr 7X luxury SUV. A dedicated team is also available to introduce the vehicles, arrange test drives and assist customers interested in purchasing one.

Gail Taylor, General Manager of Retail at Sydney Airport, said the airport connects around 42 million passengers annually, creating an opportunity for brands to reach customers in a different setting.
She added that travelers increasingly expect opportunities to discover new products and services during their journeys, describing the Zeekr partnership as a way for passengers to experience a premium electric vehicle brand directly within the terminal.
Frank Li, Managing Director of Zeekr Australia, said the company had previously displayed its 7X at T3 earlier in the year and received strong customer interest. That response encouraged the brand and airport to develop the larger showcase.

The installation will remain in T3 Domestic for six months, giving passengers a limited window to explore the vehicles while passing through the terminal. The display also offers Zeekr a way to engage potential customers outside a conventional showroom environment.
For Sydney Airport, the partnership adds another brand experience to its domestic terminal, bringing electric vehicles into a space more commonly associated with check-in counters, shops and restaurants.
