Air Canada’s Aeroplan loyalty program has expanded its partnership with Canadian dining platform DINR, allowing members to earn points through restaurant reservations, exclusive culinary events and chef collaborations booked through DINR Premium.

Announced on October 15, the expanded partnership adds dining rewards to Aeroplan’s travel-focused loyalty offering. Members who purchase a DINR Premium membership can earn 1,000 bonus Aeroplan points, followed by 100 points for each eligible, completed restaurant reservation. Additional points are available on selected culinary events and experiences purchased through the platform.

The partnership builds on an agreement first launched in October 2025, extending the ways Aeroplan members can collect rewards beyond flights and other traditional travel purchases.

Priority Access to Hard-to-Book Restaurants

DINR Premium offers priority reservations at selected popular restaurants, including access to some same-day bookings and exclusive reservation inventory. Members can also receive personalized booking assistance when seeking tables at participating restaurants.

The membership includes access to selected private dining events, chef collaborations, culinary retreats and special occasions. Members also receive early access to DINR Supper Club dinners and other events, alongside curated culinary content featuring chefs, restaurants and expert recommendations.

Scott O’Leary, Air Canada’s vice president of loyalty and product, said the partnership helps Aeroplan members discover restaurants and culinary experiences while earning rewards.

Jennifer Tremblay, DINR’s chief executive officer, said the addition of Aeroplan points brings another benefit to the platform’s paid membership and connects participating restaurants with a community of travelers and diners.

DINR describes Premium as the first dining membership of its kind in Canada to combine these reservation and culinary benefits with Aeroplan points.

How Members Can Earn Aeroplan Points

The expanded earning structure includes three main opportunities:

-1,000 bonus points when purchasing a DINR Premium membership.

-100 points for each eligible restaurant reservation that is completed while the customer holds a DINR Premium membership.

-Additional points on selected culinary events and experiences purchased through DINR as a Premium member.

The reservation reward applies to eligible completed bookings, rather than simply making a reservation. Members should check the applicable terms and conditions for details on qualifying purchases and earning eligibility.

DINR Premium is designed for diners seeking access to sought-after tables and culinary experiences, while the Aeroplan partnership gives members another way to build their points balance through everyday leisure activities.

The expanded agreement reflects a broader effort by loyalty programs to connect travel rewards with dining, entertainment and lifestyle experiences. For Aeroplan, it offers members additional ways to earn points without taking a flight, while giving DINR another incentive for customers to use its premium booking service.
