MSC Cruises has opened bookings for its 2029 World Cruise, a 119-night voyage aboard MSC Magnifica that will visit 45 destinations across 21 countries. The itinerary includes nine overnight stays, 15 included shore excursions and new stops across the South Pacific, New Zealand and Australia.

Departures will be available from four European ports in early January 2029: Civitavecchia, serving Rome, on January 4, followed by Genoa, Marseille and Barcelona.

The itinerary spans several regions, taking passengers from the Mediterranean to South America, across the Pacific and onward to Asia and Australia. Nine overnight calls give travelers additional time in selected destinations, while the included excursions offer opportunities to explore local landmarks and attractions.

One of the main features of the voyage is an extended exploration of Australia, including a circumnavigation of the country. Stops include Sydney, Melbourne, Kangaroo Island, Adelaide, Perth, Broome and Darwin, offering a mix of major cities, coastal scenery, wildlife and wine regions.

The cruise will also spend additional time in Indonesia, with calls in Bali, Lombok and Java. A new stop at Celukan Bawang in northern Bali will give passengers access to traditional villages, temples and volcanic landscapes.

Other itinerary highlights include overnight stays in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Ushuaia, Argentina; Sydney, Australia; Singapore; and Fremantle, the port city serving Perth. New Zealand features Timaru and Milford Sound, while Lautoka in Fiji is among the newly added destinations.

In Australia, Kangaroo Island is known for its wildlife and rugged coastline, while Broome combines red landscapes, turquoise waters and a history linked to the pearling industry. Darwin provides access to the tropical landscapes of Australia's Northern Territory. An overnight stay in Fremantle gives passengers more time to explore the historic port and nearby Perth, including the region's beaches, parks and wine country.
