Hyatt Hotels Corporation has opened QURO Bangkok Riverside, a 62-room hotel on the Chao Phraya River that marks the first property under its Unscripted by Hyatt brand in Thailand.

The hotel, formerly known as The StandardX, Bangkok Phra Arthit, is located on Phra Arthit Road in Bang Lamphu, a historic Bangkok neighborhood near Khao San Road and several major cultural attractions.

The property joins Hyatt's growing portfolio in Thailand, which now includes 16 hotels. The Unscripted by Hyatt collection focuses on independent hotels with individual identities that can retain their own character while benefiting from Hyatt's global network.

QURO Bangkok Riverside combines contemporary design, local art and Thai cultural influences. Its rooms feature neighborhood-inspired artwork and private balconies, with some offering views of the river or surrounding district.

Facilities include QURO Point of View, a rooftop bar overlooking the Chao Phraya River, a rooftop swimming pool, and QURO GALLERY, which showcases changing art displays.

QURO SOURCED offers a selection of curated items, while BEANS Coffee Roaster serves coffee in the lobby. The Silpa Riverside Restaurant serves Thai-inspired dishes.

The hotel's location beside Phra Arthit Pier provides access to the river and nearby attractions, including the National Museum, the Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Wat Arun.

“QURO Bangkok Riverside takes its name from the word ‘Curate,’” explained Sunshine Jeamjirarut, the hotel's general manager, addding that the property brings together art, local experiences and an independent identity inspired by the everyday rhythm of Bangkok.

The hotel participates in the World of Hyatt loyalty program, allowing members to earn and redeem points on eligible stays, subject to program terms.

To mark the opening, Hyatt is offering members who book the designated New Hotel Member Bonus Offer twice the usual World of Hyatt points per eligible US dollar spent on the room rate and qualifying incidental charges.
