Singapore Airlines is preparing a major upgrade to its in-flight entertainment and connectivity services, introducing next-generation KrisWorld with 4K displays, spatial audio, Bluetooth headphone pairing and more than 2,500 entertainment options.
The new system is designed to give passengers greater control over how they spend their time on board, with a redesigned interface, personalization features and a wellness planner. Selected aircraft and cabin classes will feature OLED screens, while active noise-cancellation headphones and spatial audio will enhance the listening experience.
Passengers will also be able to connect their personal Bluetooth headphones to compatible systems, making it easier to watch movies, follow television shows or listen to music during a flight.

The upgraded system will be installed on 41 Airbus A350-900 long-haul and A350-900ULR aircraft undergoing retrofits. These aircraft are scheduled to enter service progressively from 2027. The new KrisWorld will also feature on the airline’s upcoming Boeing 777-9 aircraft. Available features will vary by aircraft and cabin class.
Starlink Connectivity Coming From 2027
High-speed internet will complement the entertainment upgrade on Starlink-equipped aircraft, allowing passengers to stream content, use social media, play games, work online and stay in touch with family and friends during their journey.
