Greek airline AEGEAN Airlines is launching a new Internet connection process, with the aim of making in-flight WiFi access simpler and more convenient.

According to the company's announcement, starting today, October 29, 2026, passengers will be able to connect to the Wi-Fi portal on aircraft equipped with the service by entering only two details: seat number and last name, exactly as they appear on the boarding pass.

The change is designed to simplify logging in to the internet on board and reduce the number of steps required before browsing. The new connection will be gradually implemented across the fleet of Wi-Fi-equipped aircraft over the coming days.

And What bout Club Members?

AEGEAN emphasizes that Miles+Bonus club members flying in economy class who want to enjoy the free Wi-Fi benefit, depending on their membership level and eligibility conditions, should ensure their membership number is linked to the flight reservation before departure.

This will allow the system to identify the membership level and provide the relevant benefit. Travelers who do not enter their membership number in advance may not automatically receive the benefit.

The airline says the move is part of the Greek company's effort to improve its digital passenger experience, amid growing demand for internet connectivity even during flights. The company's website has additional details about internet service on AEGEAN aircraft.
