Fattal's Leonardo Hotels group continues to expand in Europe, adding another hotel to its operations in France. The company announced it had signed an agreement to acquire the Renaissance Paris La Défense hotel, located in the La Défense business district in western Paris, one of Europe's largest and most important business centers.
The four-star hotel has 330 rooms. Its location gives it access to the La Défense business center, the Paris La Défense Arena event complex, and the Westfield Les 4 Temps shopping center.
The hotel also benefits from easy access to public transport and the centre of Paris. A new direct train connection is planned in the area between La Défense and Gare du Nord, one of Europe's main train stations, from which Eurostar trains also depart to London, Brussels and other destinations.
The hotel features a restaurant, bar, fitness center, and 15 halls and meeting and event spaces, covering a total area of approximately 1,500 square meters. The hotel's facilities are designed for business people and conferences, as well as for tourists and families.
Upon completion of the transaction, expected in November 2026, the hotel will be rebranded as Leonardo Royal. The group notes that this is another step in expanding its operations in France and strengthening its presence in the European hotel market.
Yoram Biton, CEO of the group's operations in Central Europe, made the announcement and emphasized the deal's importance and the expectation of integrating the hotel into the chain's international portfolio.
