Air traffic disruptions continue in European skies. An Aer Lingus flight that took off from Dublin to Rome this morning (November 5, 2026) at 6:40 AM was diverted to an emergency landing after the plane transmitted a distress signal.

The plane landed at Evreux Fauville Air Base in France after, according to the Flightradar24 map, it had been hovering over the area for a long time.

As mentioned, the plane transmitted a distress signal (7700) and there is concern that this is another case of a bomb alert on a plane, as has happened many times recently.
