Air France has introduced an upgraded meal box in Economy Class on its medium-haul flights to and from North Africa lasting more than three hours.

The new service, launched in late October 2026, offers passengers a more substantial onboard meal, with three exclusive sandwich recipes designed to cater to a range of tastes.

The meal box also includes a pastry on flights departing before 10 a.m., while passengers traveling after that time receive a sweet treat instead.

Air France is also offering a wider selection of drinks to accompany the meal.

The upgraded catering service is intended for Economy Class passengers on all qualifying medium-haul routes connecting France with destinations in North Africa. The airline says the larger meal box is designed to better match the duration of these longer flights.

The change is part of Air France's efforts to enhance the onboard experience, including catering services, across its different cabin classes.
