Qatar Airways and Hans Zimmer collaboration. Photo Qatar Airways Qatar Airways has unveiled a new onboard musical identity created in collaboration with award-winning composer Hans Zimmer, bringing an original soundtrack inspired by Qatar, its culture and the experience of travel to passengers.
The new composition was introduced on November 6, 2026, during Zimmer's concert in Doha, where audiences received an exclusive preview of the project through a specially produced film documenting the creative process and inspiration behind the music.
Passengers can already hear the new composition onboard Qatar Airways flights, with the airline describing the collaboration as an effort to create a distinctive sound associated with its passenger experience.

The five tracks are titled Dawn, Dusk, The Orchard, Homecoming and An Ode to Qatar.
Dawn opens the collection with a sense of anticipation and discovery, reflecting the excitement of setting off on a new journey. Dusk focuses on the quieter moments of flying, as daylight fades and passengers travel above the clouds beneath the night sky.
The Orchard takes inspiration from moments of calm and reflection, drawing on the ORCHARD, the indoor tropical garden at Hamad International Airport in Doha.
Homecoming explores the emotions associated with returning home and the memories that remain long after a trip has ended.
The final composition, An Ode to Qatar, pays tribute to the country's heritage, culture and ambitions, bringing together musical themes representing its traditions and modern development.
The collaboration reflects Qatar Airways' wider effort to develop a recognizable identity beyond its aircraft, cabins and airport services.
By working with Zimmer, whose compositions are known for their cinematic storytelling, the airline aims to associate its brand with a distinctive musical experience that passengers can recognize throughout their journeys.
