American Airlines is preparing to usher in over 12 million customers this winter holiday season via more than 119,000 flights. The company has decided to expand its schedule to cater to the needs of customers looking for more options compared to the previous year.

The airline is ready to operate at 100% capacity in winter weather thanks to the months-old preparations undergone by the team, including deicing operations at important airports based in cold weather. The list includes Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and Boston Logan Airport (BOS). All aircraft and facilities have been thoroughly winterized to guarantee customers and staff stay warm during the cold.
