TAP Air Portugal will begin operating a new flight route between Lisbon and Athens starting July 1, 2026. The route will operate five flights per week, connecting the capitals of Portugal and Greece during the upcoming summer season.
During the summer, flights will be operated via Airbus A320neo aircraft. In the winter, the company will switch to the IATA schedule on Embraer E190 aircraft.
Departures from Lisbon's Humberto Delgado Airport will take place on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 21:30, arriving in Athens at 03:40 the following day. In the opposite direction, departures from Athens will take place on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 04:40, arriving in Lisbon at 07:15 local time.
Athens joins TAP’s network of destinations as a major European city destination, combining ancient history with contemporary cultural life. The city offers iconic sites such as the Acropolis and the Parthenon, leading museums, picturesque neighborhoods such as Plaka, and vibrant nightlife and markets. Athens also serves as a convenient base for other popular tourist destinations in Greece, including Delphi, Meteora and nearby islands such as Hydra and Aegina.
Round-trip tickets are available on the company's website and at travel agencies, with prices starting at €119, including taxes.
TAP Air Portugal is the national airline of Portugal and a member of the Star Alliance since 2005.
