Five years after its founding, the German leisure airline that "creates a direct connection to Europe and beyond", Discover Airlines, is ready to announce the largest investment in its history aimed at a complete renewal of its long-haul fleet.
All 16 of the airline’s Airbus A330-300 aircraft will be equipped with an all-new business-class cabin, Ocean Blue, which will enter service in April 2027. The upgrade of all aircraft is scheduled for completion by mid-2028.

This is the implementation of a new product generation in all three service classes, as part of the company's positioning as a leisure airline with a high product standard.
The Ocean Blue cabin is inspired by the colors of the ocean and emphasizes modern lines, blue tones and a clean, uniform atmosphere throughout the aircraft. The design is intended to combine a sense of freedom and travel with a clear connection to Lufthansa Group standards. The cabin also includes an intelligent Human-Centric Lighting system that adapts to flight phases and supports passenger comfort and bioregulation.

Additional Upgrades
The Premium Economy class, already considered one of the leaders among leisure airlines, will receive a new seat in a rigid shell configuration, which allows for unobstructed reclining for passengers in the back. The seats feature more privacy, a built-in footrest, personal lighting and improved seating area, positioning the class as a leading premium product in the leisure flight category.

Some seats are designed for double travel and feature an adjustable partition, while all seats open into a two-meter-long flat bed, offering more privacy and storage space than the current product.
The highlight is two new business suites in the first row, featuring 1.20-meter-high sliding doors, 32-inch screens, open legroom, increased storage space and an expanded culinary menu. The suites can be used together or separately via an internal partition.

Economy class will offer USB-C connections at every seat, while Premium Economy and Business class will also include power outlets and wireless charging. Premium Economy passengers will receive noise-canceling headphones for the first time.
In addition, the entire A330 fleet will be upgraded to Starlink high-speed internet connectivity, which will be provided to passengers free of charge in all classes of service.
Discover Airlines operates hundreds of routes, including between its hub in Frankfurt and Munich Airport to various destinations in Europe, Africa, the Caribbean, and North and Central America.
