Romania’s national airline, TAROM, is offering travelers something to look forward to with its weekly “Happy Thursday” promotion, a limited-time offer featuring discounted flights to several popular European destinations.

Every Thursday, the airline releases special fares to cities across its network, giving people a reason to plan a quick getaway, visit family, or finally book a trip they have been putting off. Offers are limited and won't last long, so travelers need to act quickly if something catches their eye.
Chisinau, Moldova. Photo: Sova502 / Shutterstock Among the destinations currently included is Chisinau, the capital of Moldova. Known for its relaxed pace, green parks, and mix of old and new architecture, the city offers a quieter alternative to more crowded European capitals. Round-trip fares start from €125.82 for travel between February 19 and March 1.
Istanbul, Turkey. Photo: Lizavetta / Shutterstock Istanbul is another option. The Turkish city remains one of the most popular destinations in the region, thanks to its history, food, and unique position between Europe and Asia. Travelers can find round-trip tickets starting at €130.32 during the same travel period.
Belgrade, Serbia. Photo: Esin Deniz / Shutterstock Belgrade is also part of the promotion, with prices starting at €161.68. The Serbian capital has built a reputation as a lively city with a strong cultural scene, historic landmarks, and vibrant nightlife.
Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Photo: Noppasin Wongchum / Shutterstock For those looking to go farther west, Amsterdam is included as well. With its canals, museums, and laid-back atmosphere, it continues to attract visitors year-round. Round-trip fares for Amsterdam begin at €226.
Passengers receive one checked bag up to 23 kilograms, plus carry-on luggage, and free check-in. All flights are operated directly by the airline, reducing travel time and avoiding connections.
The airline is also reminding passengers that pets are allowed on board, making it easier for people who prefer not to leave their animals behind.
