KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has announced it will temporarily stop flying between Amsterdam and Tel Aviv beginning March 1, citing current operational and market conditions.

In an official statement, the company said it is continuously adjusting its global route network in line with demand and operational conditions. At this stage, the company claims there is no commercial or operational feasibility of continuing to operate the route to Tel Aviv.

Accordingly, KLM has decided to temporarily suspend operations on the route. Affected passengers will be notified personally and offered the option to reschedule their flight or receive a refund.

The company has not yet specified a date for resuming operations on the route to Israel.

The Amsterdam to Tel Aviv connection has been an important link for both business and leisure travelers, as well as for connecting passengers heading to other destinations through KLM’s hub at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
