The strike will begin today at 9:00 PM (February 27) and will last for 24 hours, until 9:00 PM on Saturday, February 28. The strike may also affect lines to airports.
According to the announcement, there may be disruptions on the Malpensa Express line, which connects Milan Malpensa Airport to Milan city center and back.
Milan Airport notes that during the strike, direct alternative buses will be operated, without intermediate stops, departing from Via Paleocapa 1.
In addition, protected service windows will be guaranteed between 06:00 and 09:00 and between 18:00 and 21:00.
"Passengers are asked to prepare in advance and check the transportation status before leaving for the airport," the Italian Civil Aviation Authority states.
