While the Middle East is experiencing a severe aviation crisis due to the regional war, in Europe, business is continuing as usual and even expanding operations.
Eurowings is expanding its operations at Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) and launching two new routes to major European capitals: London and Lisbon. The move marks the beginning of another growth phase for the company, which operates under
The route to London, one of the most popular in Europe, will operate with a frequency of up to 12 weekly flights. During the week, two flights will operate each day in the early morning and late afternoon, accommodating both daily business trips and short vacations. In addition, one flight will be operated on Saturday morning and another flight on Sunday afternoon.
Lisbon is also joining the company's network of destinations, with up to three weekly flights operating on Mondays and Fridays, and on Wednesdays during the summer season. The destination appeals to both tourists and business travelers.
9 Aircraft at the Berlin Base
The new routes will be operated, among other things, by two additional Eurowings aircraft that will be stationed at the company's base in Berlin. The number of aircraft stationed there will reach nine. As part of the new summer flight schedule, Eurowings will also expand to additional destinations, including Naples, Olbia, and Kavala.

In total, Eurowings is expected to operate flights to 43 destinations in 20 countries from Berlin Airport this summer.
