The Holy Light, one of the central symbols of the Christian Easter holiday, once again left Jerusalem on its way to Cyprus this year, on a special and exciting flight operated by AEGEAN on Holy Saturday, April 11, 2026.

The company's Airbus A320 aircraft took off with a small delegation from the Exarchate of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Cyprus and landed at Larnaca Airport in the afternoon. Immediately upon arrival, a wide-ranging distribution of the Holy Light began across the island.

In collaboration with AEGEAN, the Holy Light was delivered to the various communities, carrying with it a message of revival, hope, and unity, illuminating the hearts of believers throughout Cyprus.
