Almost back to normal. Emirates announced today (May 4, 2026) an almost full return to operations, with the resumption of 96% of its global destination network, following a period of disruption. In recent weeks, the company has gradually resumed its operations around the world, including in the Americas, Europe, Africa, West Asia, the Middle East, the Gulf countries, the Far East, and Australia.
Today, the airline Emirates operates flights to 137 destinations in 72 countries, with over 1,300 weekly flights. Although this is a 96% renewal of routes, the scope of operations is still only about 75% of the capacity the company operated before the war.
The company now also offers flexible flight booking conditions, stopover options in Dubai as part of Dubai Connect, and enhanced benefits for Skywards Club members.
As we reported this morning, Dubai is reporting a drop of over 65% in air activity in March due to the war.
