French flag carrier Air France marks its 46th year as the official partner of the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, celebrating its long connection to cinema through a variety of iconic hospitality, travel, and cultural events.
"Since its founding, Air France has maintained a close bond with cinema, both on screen and in the real world. Feature films, shoots, promotion, in-flight screenings... cinema has accompanied the airline’s major milestones and contributed to its cultural influence in France and abroad."
Each spring, Air France plays a key role in bringing actors, directors, production crews, and film industry professionals from around the world to the French Riviera for the festival held along the famous Croisette, a world-famous 3-kilometer (2-mile) promenade and boulevard along the Mediterranean Sea.
The airline describes this annual journey as part of its broader commitment to supporting the global film industry.
The Pop-Up Beachfront Restaurant Is Back
A major highlight of this year’s presence is La Plage Air France, a pop-up beachfront restaurant that has become a signature feature of the festival experience.
