Greek airline SKY express opened 2026 with particularly strong results, having recorded significant growth in almost all key indicators during the first quarter of the year.

Data published by the company shows that overall passenger traffic jumped by about 19.4%, while international activity recorded an even sharper jump of about 37.2% in the number of passengers.

At the same time, the company increased the number of flights by 12.2% and recorded an impressive 34.5% increase in revenue, data that illustrates the company's continued expansion in the European and Mediterranean markets.

SKY express notes that the expansion of its international destination network, which currently includes 27 destinations throughout Europe and the Middle East, alongside the company's modern fleet of aircraft, continues to strengthen its position as one of the growing airlines in the region and as a significant factor in connecting Greece to international markets.

The company has become a major player in Greek aviation in recent years, alongside Aegean Airlines, and continues to invest in the passenger experience and a transparent pricing policy. SKY express emphasized that despite the increase in fuel costs in the aviation industry, the company has chosen not to pass on the price increases to customers.

As part of the “Stress-free travel with SKY” campaign, the company commits to a final price at the booking stage, without unexpected surcharges due to fuel prices, a move designed to give passengers complete certainty when purchasing flight tickets.

Passengers know the exact cost of their trip from the outset and can plan it with confidence and peace of mind,” the company said.

SKY express currently operates a modern fleet of aircraft, including new Airbus A320neo and ATR aircraft, and has been investing in recent years in expanding its international operations, alongside strengthening its domestic routes in Greece.

The company notes that in 2026 it is expected to continue focusing on growth, expanding its destination network, improving the flight experience, and strengthening Greek tourism.
