The US Embassy in Prague has today, May 28, 2026, announced that the inaugural flight between Prague and Philadelphia has brought the two nations "a little closer again."
American Airlines' new direct connection between Philadelphia and Prague Airport "opens up new opportunities for travel, business growth, and mutual prosperity across the Atlantic."

"What an amazing morning, I was here today to see the American Airlines inaugural flight from Philadelpia to Prague. Linking our two countries in an even more profound way. Nonstop service means an opportunity for more prosperity for both sides, for Americans coming here and for Czechs going to the United States," he added.

In total, the company anticipates up to 70 daily flights between the US and Europe during the peak summer season.
