Prague Airport is expanding its European network with a new direct route connecting the Czech capital with Lisbon, operated by Smartwings Group.

The route will be served by a Boeing 737-800 configured for 189 passengers, strengthening connectivity between Central Europe and the Iberian Peninsula.

With the launch of this service, Prague Airport continues to expand its European reach, offering more direct options for passengers traveling across the continent without the need for connecting flights.

Photo: Shutterstock October will be a busy month for Smartwings, as the company has announced it will further expand its network with the addition of seven new destinations and regular flights between Prague and Brussels (12 times a week), Barcelona (4x/week), Porto (2x/week), Bucharest (7x/week), Rome (4x/week), Toulouse, and Bilbao (2x/week). Additionally, the number of flights to Paris will increase to 3 times daily, and to Malaga, there will be 12 weekly flights.
