easyJet has unveiled a major expansion of its UK network, announcing 13 new routes from airports across the country as it continues to grow its European and short-haul operations ahead of the winter travel season.

The new services will connect travelers to destinations across Europe, North Africa, and the Arctic, with flights launching between late October and January. The airline says the expansion is aimed at offering more choice for holidaymakers looking for winter sun, city breaks and ski destinations.

Among the new routes, London Luton will gain services to Kittilä in Finland and Strasbourg in France, while London Southend will see a new connection to Edinburgh. Birmingham will be linked to Copenhagen, and Manchester will receive a new route to Cairo, with easyJet becoming the only airline offering a direct service from the city to Sphinx Airport, the closest gateway to the Pyramids of Giza.

Liverpool will gain two new destinations, Reykjavik and Kittilä, while Newcastle Airport is set for the biggest expansion with five new routes including Barcelona, Hurghada, Copenhagen, Berlin and Rovaniemi. The airline says this will bring its total network from Newcastle to 31 destinations, quadrupling its presence since launching its base in March 2026.

Further northbound and European connectivity will also be added from London Luton and Birmingham, with services scheduled to begin in November. Most routes will operate twice weekly, targeting weekend and short break demand.

In addition, easyJet will launch its first international service from Cornwall Airport Newquay, with weekly flights to Geneva starting in January 2027. The seasonal route will run until late February and marks a new step in expanding regional UK connectivity.

The airline will also launch a new direct route connecting Prague and the French city of Lille, offering travelers a quicker and more convenient way to reach northern France starting October 28, twice a week.

easyJet UK Country Manager Kevin Doyle said the expansion reflects strong demand for affordable travel options across the country.

He added that the airline is “delighted to announce 13 new routes and thousands more package holidays” and added that the network growth would give customers “even more choice from their local airport, all with great value and fantastic service.”

The airline also highlighted its Book with Confidence promise, which guarantees that prices will not increase after booking and that it aims to maintain a full schedule across its network.

With thousands of additional seats now on sale, easyJet is positioning the new routes as part of a broader push to strengthen regional airports and meet growing demand for both leisure and winter travel across Europe.
