Passengers traveling through Heathrow Airport have been advised to change their plans after the rail station serving Terminals 2 and 3 was temporarily closed due to operational constraints.
The disruption affects one of the airport’s key interchange points, which connects Heathrow to central London via the Elizabeth line, Heathrow Express and London Underground services. The closure means passengers arriving or departing from Terminals 2 and 3 will need to use alternative routes while services are adjusted.
Heathrow Airport said travelers should instead use train services to Terminal 4 or Terminal 5 stations.

Airport officials have apologized for the inconvenience and advised passengers to allow extra travel time when navigating between terminals during the disruption period.
Heathrow’s rail network is a major transport hub for the airport, linking it directly to London and surrounding regions. Temporary closures of this type can lead to delays and rerouting, particularly during peak travel hours when passenger volumes are high.
No timeframe has yet been given for when the Terminal 2 and 3 station will reopen, and passengers are being urged to check live travel updates before starting their journeys.
