Royal Caribbean is counting down to the debut of its newest cruise ship, Legend of the Seas, with the vessel set to welcome its first guests in just five days.
Ahead of its inaugural voyages, the cruise line announced that the ship will make an exclusive preview stop in Málaga, Spain, before beginning sailings from both Barcelona and Rome.

While full details of the preview event have not yet been released, the stop in Málaga will offer a first look at the ship before it officially enters service.

Photo: Royal Caribbean The debut of Legend of the Seas is expected to attract significant interest from cruise enthusiasts, with the new vessel joining Royal Caribbean's growing lineup of next-generation ships operating in Europe this summer after nearly two years of construction.
The official handover ceremony took place at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland, in the presence of over 1,200 crew members, partners, and executives.
The ship will first offer seven-night Western Mediterranean cruises from Barcelona and Rome (Civitavecchia). Later on, the ship will reposition to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for Caribbean itineraries featuring visits to Royal Caribbean's popular Perfect Day at CocoCay destination in The Bahamas.
