Iberia has launched a specially themed Airbus A320neo featuring Olaf from Frozen and Buzz Lightyear to celebrate the opening of Disney Adventure World at Disneyland Paris.
The aircraft carried 30 children from the Juegaterapia Foundation and their families from Madrid to Paris-Orly, giving them the chance to experience the park's newest attractions during a two-day visit.
The Disney magic extended throughout the flight, with themed headrest covers, exclusive Disneyland Paris gifts and cookies inspired by World of Frozen. The aircraft itself required more than 200 hours of work to apply the large vinyl design and is the sixth wrapped aircraft in Iberia's fleet.
The special flight also marks the continued partnership between Iberia and Disneyland Paris, with this becoming the second Disney-themed aircraft introduced by the airline.
The return journey coincides with another milestone for the Spanish carrier. On July 1, Iberia celebrates the anniversary of its Madrid–Paris route, first launched in 1949. Today, the airline operates up to 11 daily flights between the two capitals using the Airbus A320neo.
