American Airlines has introduced a new lounge concept at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), designed to provide premium food, drinks and customer support for travelers who want a faster airport experience.
Grab-and-Go Meals, Barista Bar, and On-Site Customer Service
Called Provisions by Admirals Club, the new 3,700-square-foot space is located in Terminal 8 between gates 12 and 14 and focuses on grab-and-go dining rather than extended lounge stays.
A highlight of the new concept is American's first dedicated barista bar, serving made-to-order Lavazza coffee alongside a self-service station offering bottled and canned drinks. Guests can also choose from fresh hot and cold meals, snacks, pastries and vegetarian options throughout the day.
The lounge also includes an on-site customer service representative to help passengers with travel-related needs before boarding.
American said the concept is designed for busy connecting passengers at JFK and builds on the first Provisions by Admirals Club location, which opened at Charlotte Douglas International Airport in 2025.
As announced at the beginning of June, American Airlines is making important upgrades to Flagship and Admirals Club lounges, bringing in new seasonal dishes, offering digital in-seat ordering and expanding culinary offerings for premium passengers.
