Air Serbia continues to demonstrate steady growth. The company announced that it has surpassed the two-million-passenger mark since the beginning of 2026.
During the first six months of the year, the company carried 2,062,488 passengers, an increase of approximately 57,000 passengers compared to the first half of 2025. At the same time, it operated 23,225 flights, more than a thousand additional flights compared to the same period last year.
The second quarter of the year also continued the positive trend. Between April and June, Air Serbia carried nearly 1.25 million passengers, an increase of 2.69% compared to the second quarter of 2025. During this period, the company operated 13,192 flights, an increase of 4.39%.
According to the company's CEO, Jiri Mark, the first half of the year was characterized by stable demand and subsequent expansion of the company's activities.
"The first half of the year was particularly successful. We are proud to have reached two million passengers earlier than last year. Starting at the end of April, we launched flights to new and popular destinations such as Santorini, Baku, Munich, Toronto, Alicante and Brac, which demonstrates our ability to adapt the route network to the needs of passengers, both in the tourism and business travel sectors. At the same time, we launched the new frequent flyer program Elevate, which is designed to provide our customers with additional benefits and upgrade the flight experience."
The expansion of the destination network and the launch of the new loyalty program are part of Air Serbia's strategy to continue to consolidate its position as one of the fastest-growing airlines in Europe, while strengthening operations from its home airport in Belgrade and expanding connectivity between Serbia and key destinations in Europe, North America and the Mediterranean Basin.
