Lufthansa has unveiled the latest addition to its growing 100th anniversary fleet, revealing the airline's first-ever Airbus A350-1000 in a striking commemorative livery ahead of its delivery later this year.

Photo: Lufthansa Painted at Airbus' Toulouse facility, the aircraft features a bold blue fuselage, an oversized white Lufthansa crane, and the inscriptions "1926 | 2026" and "100" to celebrate the carrier's centennial. The special paint scheme required 432 liters of blue paint and 246 liters of white paint.

Registered D-AIFA and named "Deutschland," it will also mark a major production milestone as the 700th aircraft Airbus has delivered to the Lufthansa Group.
The Airbus A350-1000, the largest member of the A350 family, is nearly 74 meters long and offers seating for 300 passengers across First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy. Lufthansa has ordered 15 aircraft, with deliveries scheduled through 2030.
