Photo: Radisson Radisson Hotel Group continues to expand its operations in Thailand with the opening of Radisson Resort Layan Phuket, a new resort featuring 300 rooms and suites, located between Layan Beach and Sirinat National Park, one of the quiet and prestigious areas on Phuket Island.
The hotel is located about a 30-minute drive from Phuket International Airport, and close to the entertainment and shopping areas of Laguna Phuket, golf courses, beach clubs and commercial centers.
The resort offers a wide range of rooms and suites, including family suites and two-bedroom suites for extended stays. All rooms feature private balconies, high-speed internet, smart TVs and modern amenities.
In the culinary field, the hotel offers three dining venues: Taste Restaurant, which focuses on Southeast Asian cuisine, Mangrove Bar & Restaurant with an emphasis on grill dishes and cocktails, and Aroonsawat Café, which also serves Starbucks drinks alongside pastries and sandwiches.
The hotel also features a spa inspired by Thai healing traditions, a 24-hour gym with a yoga area, and three swimming pools.
Alongside leisure activities, the hotel offers four conference rooms and an event hall with an area of approximately 324 square meters, intended for conferences, business events and private celebrations, as part of the effort to attract the business tourism market to Phuket.
According to Tim Cordon, the group's chief operating officer for the Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia, Thailand remains one of the chain's most important strategic markets, and Phuket is one of the most sought-after destinations in Asia. According to him, the opening of the new hotel strengthens the company's portfolio of resorts in the region and offers guests a combination of nature, modern design and Thai hospitality
