At the end of July, the low-cost carrier that serves the Middle East and North Africa, Air Arabia, marked its new Sharjah to Rome route with a five-meter tiramisu at Dubai Mall and free flights to Italy.
Now, the airline has announced the launch of a new nonstop service between Sharjah and Frankfurt on December 15, 2026, giving travelers a new direct connection between the United Arab Emirates and Germany.

The service will be operated using an Airbus A320neo, offering passengers a modern cabin while improving fuel efficiency and operational performance.
Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, said Frankfurt represents an important step in the airline's continued European expansion and reflects growing demand between the UAE and Germany.
He added that the daily service will provide travelers with greater choice and affordable connectivity while supporting tourism, trade and economic links between the two countries.

New Sharjah–Frankfurt Flight Schedule
The service will operate daily, with different flight numbers and timings depending on the day of the week.
On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, flight G9 0682 will leave Sharjah at 3:50 p.m. and arrive in Frankfurt at 8:15 p.m. The return flight, G9 0683, will depart Frankfurt at 9:05 p.m. and arrive in Sharjah at 6:30 a.m. the following day.
