Eurovision Is Coming to Burgas and This Airline Is Preparing with a New Direct Line

Ahead of hosting Eurovision 2027 in Burgas, Bulgaria Air will operate direct flights between Sofia and Burgas in order to facilitate the arrival of visitors to the host city and improve transportation options between the two cities

In preparation for hosting Eurovision 2027 in Burgas, Bulgaria Air will operate direct flights between Sofia and Burgas to facilitate visitors' arrival in the host city and improve transportation options between the two cities.

According to an announcement by Fraport Bulgaria, which operates the airports of Burgas and Varna, flights will begin on May 2, 2027, with up to two daily flights on selected days.

The flights will allow passengers to reach Burgas via Sofia, as part of preparations for the Eurovision Song Contest, which is expected to attract many visitors to Bulgaria.

Eurovision 2027 will be held in Burgas after the city was chosen to host the competition.

Fraport Bulgaria said it is working to expand flight options for visitors to the event and improve Burgas' connectivity ahead of the competition.
