Photo: ShutterstockThe new service operates four times a week throughout the year, with flights scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, aligning with the low-cost airline's growth plan for the coming years, with a clear focus on boosting presence across Central and Eastern Europe while also strengthening operations in other key European markets.

The launch further expands Wizz Air's presence at Berlin Brandenburg Airport. Under the winter flight schedule, the airline's network from BER will grow to 18 routes.
The new service provides a year-round connection to Sofia, making it possible to plan both short city breaks and longer trips without relying on seasonal flights.

The city combines historic landmarks with more modern parts of the capital. Orthodox churches and older architecture sit alongside residential developments and contemporary buildings, giving Sofia a varied urban landscape.
For visitors, the destination offers museums, historic sites, restaurants and city attractions, while its location also makes it possible to use Sofia as a base for exploring other parts of Bulgaria.
