The FEX airport express and RE20 regional service will also operate on a combined schedule of four services per hour through December 2026.
A larger disruption is affecting Berlin's Stadtbahn, where extensive maintenance work has closed the section between Charlottenburg and Ostbahnhof to regional and long-distance trains. The closure is scheduled to remain in place from June 14 through December 12, 2026.
The disruption can affect journeys across Berlin and may require passengers to allow additional time or use alternative connections when traveling to the airport.
More Timetable Changes
Berlin Airport says further timetable changes may also affect the FEX and regional services RE20, RB22, RB24 and RB32. These changes can include partial cancellations and diversions and may vary depending on the time and date of travel.
Passengers are advised to check the latest information through the Verkehrsverbund Berlin Brandenburg (VBB) timetable service before traveling.
Passengers are also advised to use the airport's parking facilities, with parking spaces available directly in front of the terminals.
At the end of August, we reported S-Bahn train traffic interruptions in Berlin due to infrastructure work, with no stop at Wollankstraße station in the northbound direction toward Frohnau, Oranienburg, and Hennigsdorf.
The change, which will apply to lines S1, S25, and S85, will last until August 17, 2028, at 04:00.
