American Airlines Flight 41 landed safely at Chicago O’Hare International Airport on Tuesday, October 20, after the crew reported a brake issue followed by a blown tire after landing.

The Boeing 787-800 arrived from Josep Tarradellas Barcelona–El Prat Airport in Spain at around 2:30 p.m. local time, according to the initial report.

After the aircraft came to a stop, passengers deplaned using stairs and were transported by bus to the terminal. No injuries were reported in the information provided.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will investigate the incident.

In August, we reported on a similar incident involving an American Airlines Boeing 737-800 that landed safely at the same airport in Chicago after two tires blew following arrival from New York LaGuardia.
