Atlantic Airways, the national airline of the Faroe Islands, has placed a firm order with Airbus for two additional A320neo aircraft as it moves toward operating an all-A320neo fleet.
The order will support the airline’s fleet renewal plans and is expected to simplify maintenance and improve operational efficiency. Atlantic Airways currently operates four aircraft from the A320 Family, including two A320ceo and two A320neo jets.

Benoît de Saint-Exupéry, Airbus Executive Vice President of Sales for the Commercial Aircraft business, welcomed the order and said the additional aircraft would support Atlantic Airways’ regional connectivity and links for communities in the Faroe Islands.
The A320neo is part of Airbus’s A320 Family, which has accumulated more than 20,400 orders worldwide. According to Airbus, the aircraft family offers at least 20% lower fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions compared with previous-generation single-aisle aircraft, alongside a cabin designed to improve passenger comfort.
