British Airways has published a list of destinations it defines as the "most popular holiday destinations for 2026" among travelers from the UK.
New York, Orlando, and Dubai stand at the top of the list, followed by tropical destinations and popular islands.

Several destinations are recording a sharp increase in popularity heading into 2026, including Bermuda, St. Kitts, the Turks and Caicos Islands, Grenada, and Crete, indicating a preference for vacations on tropical islands and secluded beaches, and the strengthening of the Caribbean region as a preferred vacation destination.
In addition, apart from the destinations themselves, the report reveals new trends among tourists.
Among them, unscheduled vacations, with about 20% of British travelers choosing to disconnect from the clock and act according to their own internal rhythm, and self-acceptance and positive body image, with 31% of travelers considering the issue to be much more acceptable today than in the past, a change that is also reflected in the nature of the experiences they choose during their vacation.
The list also includes consumer loyalty, with 74% of travelers reporting that they purchase more from brands whose customer loyalty programs they have joined. The figure has increased by 7% from last year
