Israir flight 6H725 and Wizz Air flight number W62326 were diverted from Budapest to Bucharest. Israir stated: "The flight that took off from Ben Gurion Airport to Budapest was diverted to Bucharest due to weather conditions at the Budapest airport. Passengers will receive food at the airport and when weather conditions permit, the plane will take off for Budapest."

Later today, two Wizz Air flights are scheduled to depart from Tel Aviv to Budapest, at 1:30 PM and 5:25 PM (GMT), as well as El Al flight LY2367, which is scheduled to depart at 2:55 PM (GMT) and is currently scheduled to depart on time. However, passengers should take into account that delays may occur due to weather conditions.

According to a statement from Budapest's Ferenc Liszt International Airport, a layer of ice has led to a temporary closure of the airport for takeoffs and landings for safety reasons. Management reassured the public that the airport will keep offering updates on any new developments.

Passengers were advised to follow the airport and airline websites and social media for further updates.
