Celebrating six decades: ITB Berlin 2026 will have a special celebratory flavor this year, marking its 60th anniversary with a full house and participation from over 160 countries. This year, the fair, scheduled for March 3-5 at the MESSE exhibition center in Berlin, will spotlight future industry trends, alongside significant growth in markets across Asia, the Arab world, cruises, tourism technologies, and health tourism.
Host country Angola will lead a series of official events under the branding “Visit Angola - The Rhythm of Life”. The fair will also welcome a broad presence of key destinations from Europe, Asia, America, and Africa, with noteworthy markets such as Thailand, Egypt, Turkey, Italy, the Gulf States, the USA and Canada showcasing expanded pavilions.
Photo: ITB BERLIN The Travel Tech sector continues to expand with six fully booked halls. This year's focus is on AI solutions, hotel software systems, operational automation, advanced payment systems, and digital experiences.
Health and medical tourism is also showing growth, with the expansion of the Medical & Health Tourism pavilion and the launch of the first ITB Awards in the field. Key topics include thermal medicine, longevity, preventive tourism, and more. LGBT tourism will also occupy a prominent place at the fair with new partners, including Booking.com.
